This year I have been experiencing a problem with my boiler which was put in the same year I moved into the house and the installer cant figure out what is wrong with it.
It turns on and runs until the water heats to 180 temp and then it shuts off. and heats that is ok it is working like it should but here's the issue, just this year I have called him at least 10 times on the same issue which is; it kicks off by it’s self because the trip switch tells the boiler that carbon monoxide is being released into the air there for it will not run long enough to get it to stay warm in the house.
If I open a door in the back it forces the air up the pipe, which it will then run like normal but, I cant get up at all hours of the night to do this and if I don’t the house gets so cold at night that when I wake up it is freezing. also I have it set it on 90 degrees and the warmest it gets in the house is 70.
I also have cleaned the pipes at the bottom where the gas runs.
I am out of things to try and afraid my kids and I will freeze this winter.
Any suggestions would be nice appreciated.
