Old video intercom from Bitron need to change to a simple Bell 801. I got some old connecting photos and the existing cable is 12 cores type. I try to connect it to new simple intercom it’s a bit tricky. I searched few posts in forum but didn’t help. High appreciated if anyone can give me advice

Found some manual link

But some forum member said there is no fix rules for those cores to be connected and this made me so confused. then is it a must for me to buy the same intercom in order to make it work again ?

It’s a flat in an apartment building with more than 50 units
This is the entrance panel

It’s not ….EVER going to work as it’s probably a digital system …get your landlord or maintenance provider to sort it before you cause issues with the system …

So it’s not DIY level that can try at all……
Sadly they charge for £600 + vat to replace like for like……

A Has it ever worked ?
B what flat number are you ?
C do you pay a service charge ? Is this not covered by that ?

A in the past the original intercom was ok but too old that why I try to replace it
B is it related ? My number is 1 _ 3 (for privacy purpose)
C yes, but intercom replacement is no covered.

B ….i was looking at the dip switches on the unit they looked too high for 50 flats only , that’s why I asked flat number and if it worked ? eg wrong dip switch address would stop it from working ….
I think
There is a more modern version but they aren’t a system i do work on
Try
Secure link.co.uk
They may be able to help you but I can’t see it being that much cheaper
