I've been covering my flat roof with this - which says that it is dry within 24 hours but unaffected by water immediately after application.
I applied 2 coats to my roof and it had a good 48 hrs to dry before the rain - however where the water has pooled on the roof there's a white residue all around the puddles. I'm assuming that the bitumen paint had also probably pooled to some degree and therefore not dried fully in these places.
My plan is to give another coat in these areas once it's had a good chance to dry as some may have been washed away - does that sound sensible?
On a positive note the roof doesn't seem to be leaking...
