I have an Elektra Beckum TG500 flip-over saw, what type of blade would you recommend for a good compromise between ripping and cross-cutting?

I use a deWalt DW742 flip-over saw and there's no really satisfactory compromise, IMHO. As a chop saw I need a negative rake mitre blade and for sawing it generally needs a fast rip blade - completely different requirements where neither blade can replace the other. I tend to just plan my work around that.

as scrit says its plan the work for the blade i to have the dw742 i have fitted a freid pro blade LP30m [40 teeth ] bladehttp://www.screwfix.com/app/sf...F-8&q=11710&pn=1&pd=1&pi=1&cn=1&cd=1&x=11&y=3

now ripping down is a lot slower but the cut is so clean you can convert timber and usualy dont need to do any more than a light sand on the cut edge
