bleeping on OPTIMA G3 ALARM

My Optima g3 alarm keeps bleeping every time the P I R is passed even though the alarm is off.
Have tried reset reset 9999 reset reset after 5seconds and within 5 seconds but no change.
It was fine before this morning but we may have pressed something on the keypad in confusion when we put the code in to turn off the alarm which had already been turned off earlier
There is nothing in the operating instruction manual about this.
Can anyone help?

you have turned the chime on by mistake.to turn it off press the chime button the zone that is on chime will light up press the corrisponding number on your keypad the led will go off press reset .that should sort it .
