Hi

I am in the process of putting up blinds on a dot and dab wall. I was planning to use something like a 6mm frame fixing so that I can reach through to the substrate and get a solid fixing.

However, I always find that the distance between the two holes on the brackets for the blinds are very close together which means there isn’t much room in between to get two solid fixings through to the wall.

Does any have any suggestions on how to overcome this when fixing blinds to this kind of wall.

I thought about using one solid fixing in each bracket but this is not possible as the bracket will rotate.

Polymer grab and 2 screws to hold some 4mm thick wood to wall.
Screw blinds to that

If you mean the venetian blind swivel brackets use a second smaller fixing screw and plug into the plasterboard only, fischer nylon plugs are excellent.
