Hello. I want to block off my unused back door. I asked a builder and he'd do it with breeze blocks and wants £500.
To save money, I have an: cover the door with tongue and groove cladding (to match the rest of the walls).
I'm going to screw battens across the door to pin the cladding to.
The kitchen is generally cold and draughty and I'd like to insulate this area.
My question is, what can I use as insulation in the gap between the door and the cladding?
