Doing the kitchen and want to block up hatch on the kitchen side, leaving the framed ledge on the dining room side. Reason for this is I don't want to redecorate the room, and this will be a rental.

Could I use beading and block up with a mdf or plywood board? If so what is preferred and what thickness

Thanks

yeah you could do instal a thin bead on dining room side, then fix either 12/15/18mm mdf to it and then paint it,or do the same with p/board.whatever you prefer?
