Ive a pantry in my kitchen which is basically the void under the stairs, we are wanting to block this doorway up to alter the kitchen space, the issue i have is one of the walls is external, it currently has 2 double sized air bricks in it one at c.2 feet above floor level another at c 5 feet.
what would be the best way to block off the doorway to it from the kitchen, to avoid issues of damp etc in the void, NB Fully bricking up is not an option as we may with to add and convert this under stairs space into a downstairs wc entering via the hallway in the future.
any advice much appreciated
