blowlamp and fire

does anyone else take care when using their blowlamp and have the same allergy to fire as me, fire brings me out in blisters,is it just me.
 
Yeah, if you stick your fingers in the flame it will smart a bit...
 
Caution

"items will be hot when heated"

Or

Product will be hot after heating.

The only thing I've used my blowtorch for in the last few years is lighting my woodburner.
 
Keeps a good plumber alert, does the odd burn. Just like a good electrician will get the odd... thing right! :):whistle:
 
Believe you me, blow lamp and a hall carpet do not mix...saved by the fire alarm but the carpet was toast!
 
Have a fire extinguisher to hand or a spray bottle of water, at the very least. Then a 2-hour fire watch after using torch for final time!
