Blue sparks from underneath machine?

I noticed there were blue sparks coming from under the machine as it was spinning. Not all the time, just a sporadic burst ever few seconds.
Can also make a loud vibrating noise when spinning is this just the drum?
Why do on occasion's clothes have an odd smell
Is this safe from a Lamona washing machine.?

it is not safe and it needs repair.

Blue sparks is normal just carbon build up on the brushes. Remove brushes and clean commutator. Noisy could be overloaded or drum bearing or surport on way out. As for smell descale it a few times with white vinegar.
