I have an IPX7 rated one with a USB-C connection. I can get 2 to 3 days out of the battery. Sound quality for the spoken word is fine (I seldom listen to muzak on site). The phone app has a graphic equaliser and you can set the time duration to turn off if you forget to turn it off at the end of the day. The app will also send you an alert when the battery is nearly flat.
If I am on scaffolding, when needed, I charge it via a powerbank (not IP rated)- that is when I can't be arsed to run an extension lead. The powerbank might be advisable as the bluetooth will wear down the charge on your phone.
It is currently 10 quid off for the black version. (£30)

I often use mine in the rain, but overnight, I store it under a tarp.
It doesn't have any fixings but it does come supplied with a strap... if you are into strapons...
It is only the second IP rated BT speaker I have owned. The first one was better for music but it had a USB-Micro connection and one day refused to accept the charger.
