I'm having problems also with a bluetooth connection between my phone a motorola v600 and PC running ME
Phone and PC are bonded and the phone transfers all it's files to the PC ok
in the bluetooth driver which is Bluesoeil v1.4 in the file transfer window it shows three directories movies, pictures and audio, if i try to upload to the phone the transfer will start and stop either immediately after 6% or on some files even after 60%?? where the screen freezes until a dialog comes up saying "upload failed". i thought it might be the files i was trying to upload wern't compatible in some way but i've tried deleting one of the files that transferred over to the pc, from the phone , even these files will not transfer back??
I'm wondering if there is something in the setup of the phone that is stopping two way transfer? but cannot find anything after going through all the visible menu settings, is there a hidden engineering menu?
what is puzzling is i can create a new directory from the pc to the phone and this appears on the phone but i cant seem to transfer any file either into the original three folders or the newly created folder? anyone else having this problem?

Have you got enough memory left on the phone for the files?

from the bluesoleil site... - http://www.bluesoleil.com/update/index.asp

Note: If your Bluetooth Hardware device (such as USB Dongle) is not licensed by IVT for using with BlueSoleil, any BlueSoleil version downloaded here can only be used as evaluation version, only 5M data can be transfered through Bluetooth link in evaluation version.

Check to see whether you are indeed licensed. If you are download the latest drivers and try again.

I do have a licensed version that came with the dongle, i actually got in touch with bluesoleil themselves who said try downloading v1.6 which i did but still same problem, any motorola users had the same problem? after spending out on another dongle which funnily came with same software and having same problem i'm wondering if buying a serial cable will be worthwhile or another waste of money? not sure if fault lies with phone, or bluetooth software?
one more question , should the software show more than just the three folders? Thanks for everyone's help so far

Have you got access to another PC (running a different o/s)? This would give you a better idea of where the problem lies.

only ones at work though i doubt i'll have admin rights to install the software.
not had any problem with my nokia before so wondered if it is just motorola? Have spoken with someone at work who has the Motorola V3 and he has had problems linking it to his PC through a serial cable, so it may just be that motorolas are cr*p.
