boiler and an ariston

my sister is buyin g a house that has a worcester highflow 400 and an ariston
pressurised hot water cylinder is this normal .......the boiler is a combi why would you want a hot water cylinder too unless its to help with high demand??

its possible the aristonis being used as a hw buffer vessel and or indirectly.
