Boiler - Can I replace the analog programmer with digital?

Hi all

In Google search it seems my question only brings up thermostat questions and answers..

On my boiler - which is an old Myson Apollo the analog programmer has broken..

It looks like this


Would it be just a case splicing the wires to fit this?

Which model Apollo?

How many motorized valve do you have and which type?

To be honest im not sure on the answers of both your questions

Boiler model is not important.

There are two types of valves - 2-port and 3-port, as in the pics, they will normally be near the pump or HW cylinder.
