Boiler covering

Hi,

I am boxing our boiler in with a cuboard to match the rest of the kitchen, just wandered if there was any regulations etc for the amount of ventilation needed around the boiler?

It all depends on the boiler. Have you got the instruction book? If not try the web site of the manufacturer - they often have installation instructions for current models.

Is it balanced/fan flue or conventional flue? You need to check for compartment ventilation requirements, if any, as well as standard ventilation if it is open flue. Full details will be in MI's
