The Glow Worm Swift Flow 80 combi boiler in our house does not have a front cover and I am keen to replace it. Does anyone know where I can buy one new or second hand? Alternatively, do regulations allow us to build an MDF box around the unit allowing for adequate ventilation underneath?

I realise this is an old model but it works fine, no CO emissions etc and still has lfe in it yet so ideally not looking to replace it at this time!!

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Alan

As I recall the front cover as you call it is a full casing with sides, top and bottom.

It would normally be considered at risk to operate it with the case off !

The only advice I can give you is to get either a new one ( unlikely but always possible ) or try to find a used one on Ebay. Probably need to buy an old boiler.

You should not be using the boiler as it is!

Is this the one with the mechanical summer/winter switch in servowarm style on the front?
What happened to the old cover?
