A friend fitted a intergas combi through a gas safe engineer. I noticed it does have 10mm clearance as per instructions. However there is some pipe work in this clearance.

does this mean it’s not been fitted properly and hence any waranty claim would invalidate?

It's fine as long as the casing can be removed for maintenance
While your here. You advised me on a boiler for rental. We went for the intergas 24 xclusive. I’m just into the warranty and stuff. 12 years with a filter. Thanks for the help. I know you said rapid. But I save a bit of money on the thermostat rf reciever and the extra waranty just made it worth it. Once you had flue and all the other bits the percentage difference isn’t much
