I have had a safety check by a gas safe engineer on a valiant EcoTEC plus 824 boiler the flue fitted is vertically out of the pitched roof
The Engineer has said the Flue installation does not meet the standard
as it passes too close to a roof battern, says a gap of 50mm needed.
In the Flue installation manual Page 5 it says Quote:
The air/duct operates at a very low temperature therefore no clearance is necessary between the air duct and adjacent services.
Does this not include roof timber??
