HI All,

I am a student in a rented flat, 3 of us are sharing, there is never enough hot water!

I have a pulscoil 2000, my landlord has sent contractors out but all they seem to do is take the cover off and scratch their heads!

Any help would be appreciated - DESPERATE for a hot shower!

This is an electrical thermal store and you should not be trying to repair it yourself. It maybe that one of the heating elements is not working and this requires professional attention. Contact the agent or landlord and insist on a proper repair. I assume you have read the user instructions?

Sorry Pete, but the OP has never mentioned repairing it themselves.

The pulsacoil units arent the best but you should get decent showers they are expensive to run but are quite good to be honest in their HW delivery contact your landlord and insist that they send an experienced engineer who has worked on this system before , I suspect that it is a very easy repair but without more detailed information I cant tell you for sure

I had one of these in my last flat, have you checked the tank on top of the unit? has it got any water in it?

The manufacturer Gledhill went bust, but a phoenix company has sprouted Gledhill response.

I found this forum, its really good, lots of specialists... http://gledhill-repairs.forumotion.net/

MK Group advertise as repair specialists not sure what areas they cover tho, well worth a look as they have a self help video.

Hope this helps!
