boiler howls

when the temperature drops to 5 degrees celcius or below my boiler makes a howling noise.

There is no air in the system....all the radiators are hot from top to bottom.

the system works ok...no noise on just water heating(gravity feed to tank).
No noise when temp is above 5 degrees

BAXI SOLO 2RS is the model

Apreciate any help

Hi Nigel,

Sounds like the fan is on its way out.To reduce noise and prove suspicion lubricate the fan bearing- preferably fan oil.
