Boiler in bathroom and cupboard

I have just had my boiler installed in the bathroom where the old airing cupboard was, next to the bath, the boiler starts where the length of the bath finishes in zone 2.

I know that I need a cupboard around it to cover the electrics but is it possible to only build a cupboard below the boiler rather than completely around it to make it easier for servicing and to avoid having the wooden sides over hanging the bath?
