i trhink i need to rephrase question is there any way of making it safe without actually moving boiler or could i use the room as a study or dining room instead please?
cheers

Unusual to have an open flue boiler in the garage in the first place, but ok to have one in the study/dining room providing proper ventilation is fitted but def not a bedroom.

its a POTTERTON ULTRA 2-80 boiler was told its an open flue but better check with you lot
