Hi Guys
I'm a newbee here and need some advise if possible.
I have just had a new central heating system installed in my bungalow and saved some space by having a combi boiler fitted in the loft space. All works well, only now I lay in bed and hear in fire up and run every morning. Its only a small thing I know, but it's driving me mad. Is there any material I can use to damp the noise. Can i build an acoustic box on say three sides? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

If you have the manual read it and see if there are any spacing guidelines. You'd get away with it if you made the box a fair size bigger than the boiler. 3x2 frame and a plasterboard/rockwool combo will give best soundproofing.
