Hi,
I have a Vokera linea 28 boiler which today leaked onto the floor. There was also a flashing error but partner didn't take a note of the code before switching the boiler off.

I've had a quick look and the leak is coming from a loose (meant to be loose?) valve cap on top of a 'Grunfos up 15-50' (pump?) near the bottom of the boiler. I repressurised the system and switched it back on. the radiators got hotter than normal and the pressure went higher than normal so I switched it back off. After a quick internet search I found the pressure vessel at the top back, took off the valve cap and depressed the valve. Water comes out.

Anyone know what the issue might be (replace vessel?) or is there anything else I should check before calling out an costly engineer?

thanks.

When the valve is pressed and water comes out that is usually the sign of a broken vessel.
Is there water coming out a copper pipe outside the house?

The expansion vessel has ruptured. And auto air vent has failed. May require a new pressure relief valve.
