Hi all,

I have a 5yr old Worcester / Danesmoor WM 12/19 oil fired pressure jet appliance.

I have recently had an annual service and was told by the engineer that the BOILER ON LED should be lit when the boiler has power. This has not been the case since install and only comes on when the boiler is called for. I have gone through the wiring and schematics and the LED is linked to the burner and not directly to the live feed, therefore will only light when the burner is lit.

Can someone please confirm that I am correct in my assumptions. The engineer from the service company is adament that it should be on all the time.

Thanks,

Andy

The light should be on when the boiler is on, maybe the have just wired the boiler to come live when heat is called for rather than wiring it permanently live with a switch live when calling
