The problem I am having is two fold. My boiler (Worcester 28i)has been losing pressure gradually so I tried to top it up. It went up slowly and when I turned it off it gradually went straight down again. I found the reason for this as it had caused quite a heavy leak in the towel rail in the bathroom. Once the pressure dropped the leak stopped.

Do you think a bleed of the towel rail should help or does it sound like a bigger problem than this?

I have had the central heating on since and all other radiators heated up OK but the towel rail remained cold (well lukewarm at the very bottom).

Sounds like its losing pressure from the leak in the towel rail - how does it manage to heat up the other radiators without pressure or did you close off the towel rail?
