Hi!
My boiler is making this very loud groaning sound every night - it seems to happen when the timed central heating switches off but sometimes its half an hour before then. It's reeeeeally loud and sometimes goes on for about 2 minutes. It has also happened during the daytime - any time near the end of the timed heating cycles.
I looked at the exhaust outside while it's making the noise and it puffs out steam (or whatever boilers puff out) in time with the groaning getting louder and quieter. And then eventually it stops and turns off.
I recently moved into this house so the boiler is new to me and I dont know how long it's been doing it for.
I'm really puzzled! Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks
