What exactly does combi modulation do ? does it modulate just the burner ? or does it also include the CH pump too ?

Depends on the boiler. Some now have dT linked pumps to try to maintain a temperature differential between flow & return. Some will vary pump output against burner output. Some may still be fixed speed

viessmann 100-w 2021 model.
I've seen temp differential thrown around a few times - what exactly is it ? and how does it differ from ErP ?
