Have a Crane boiler and B & G circulating pump with a bearing assembly.
Have 3 honeywell zone valves throughout the house.
Everytime the circulating pump shuts off and any zone valve starts
to close, I hear a 2-3 second squeel sound.
Thought either the pump or bearing were going bad, so I replaced
both with identical parts.
My squeel sound is still there. I purged the system 3 times to make sure
air wasn't the problem, but noise is still as bad as before.
Any ideas on what is the problem? The sound carries throughout the entire house. Please e-mail me asap!!! Thanks!!
