Hello

I have a Biasi M90F.28S combination boiler. Last year it was fine all summer (with the heating off) and then when I came to run the heating and water together it kept cutting out.

I had an engineer to service it and take a look but there seemed to be nothing wrong and after the visit it was ok for a time and didnt cut out so much.

Again this summer everything was cool and now I've put the heating on it's started cutting out again. Today, when running the hot water tap and heating, I've had to hit the ignition about a dozen times, which is a real pain the bee-hind.

That said there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it cutting out; sometimes it will be when running the heating and water together, other times it's when just heating is on.

The dials are reading just under 2 Bar and the temp is reading 60 degrees C.

Does anyone have any advice before I get someone in to look at it again?

Many thanks in advance x

This make is often installed without flushing, which could cause this problem. also know problems with board and diverter. What do you mean by HITTING the ignition?

Thanks very much for your reply, it definately gives me some knowledge to work with when getting in an engineer.
As for "hitting" the ignition - I was pressing the little red button when the flame died. However, it was rather tempting to bash it with something large and heavy on more than one occasion, but I've resisted.. so far!
