Boiler on 2 mins then cuts off, no CH

boiler comes on for 2-3 mins then cuts out. no heat getting to rads. suspect it's possibly something to do with air in the system or crud blocking the pump (which does vibrate and appear to be working). outlet pipes from boiler are also extremely hot, but no hot water is getting to the rads. have bled the rads. thermostat seems fine as its always switched on full (whilst we are trying to find out the problem elsewhere).

COULD POSS BE SYNCRON MOTER IN ELECTRIC VALVE,NOT MOTORING OPEN TO ALLOW HEATING
