Hi all could anyone tell me why my hot water is going hot and cold the pressure is on 1 bar (green) I have a Worcester greenstar 24i its only 14 months old. When I use the hot water the pressure gauge goes down in to the red thats when the hot water goes cold I really don't have any idea why its doing this I have no leaks we checked

probably the pressure vessel, you can either replace the internal one (they can be quite pricey, maybe £100) or fit a external one to the heating pipework.

If none of this makes any sense, then you probably need a plumber.

I think it is rising pressure - OP says it "goes down into the red". I think he means the needle moves through the green to the red section - i.e. pressure rising.
