Boiler problem...

My boiler is not working!!! When you put the tap on you can hear it start up and then it stops. Pressure is at 0. Burner on light is not on. Digistat thing on the wall is flashing not receiving, and I can't even change the batteries. It's a Halstead combi boiler.
Has anyone got any ideas what I could do to try and warm the place up as it's 5 hours before hubby gets home!!!!

Try pressing the overide button on digi receiver!!

Right red light is no longer on the digistat receiver. I've tried turning heating on and it makes the right noise, burner light does come on and then goes off, noise stops and power light flashes.
I've tried the user manual and I'm going to be totally honest I'm a girl I don't get it!!! I may as well be reading mandarin!
