I have a gloworm boiler. When it is running it is constantly switching on and off when the heating is on.
Could this be an airlock in the system or could my pump be on its way out and if so how can I check the pressure?

What model of glow worm is it. Is it doing this when the system is hot and how long is the cycle ?( how long is it on then off) .It could be the boiler is up to temp and it is coming on to top up the heat .Does it do it on hot water too?

Its a glow worm55 with fan assisted flue.
The boiler is on for about 5 Minutes and then off for the same time when it was new (8 years old) it would stay on untill the room thermostat temp was reached.

It sounds like it is struggling to get rid of the heat. It could be the pump but it could also be a sign of sludge in the system . Is the boiler noisy?
