Boiler problems

Hi
I have had some work done to the water system where the water had to be turned off at the main stop cock.

When I have turned this back on the pressure in the boiler has rocketed and the over flow on the boiler has been spewing out water at high pressure.

Any ideas?

why didn't the person who done your work didn't put the water back on and test ?

Tay7 spot on it was one of those' I feel stupid now' moments

AGAS the guy was doing work out side for a few days concreting i had drained down the system and obviously not put it back on properly.
