Can anyone help please. I have a glowworm boiler thats seen better days, which doesn't have another winter left in it. I have been told that it needs replacing and have a new one coming.
My problem is my heating only works sporadically. i.e. as and when it wants too not when I want it too. I have tried resetting the timer and have checked the thermostat but still not working. Boiler comes on for about 2 hours then off and wont restart (pilot light out - have had this checked and cleaned recently)
Don't know if its the boiler, the thermostat, a sticking 3 way valve or the timer. Can anyone shed some light on my problem. Would very much appreciate any help available. thanks
