Hi

I have a glow worm back boiler with a wall mounted UP2 programmer.
earlier today the power to the programmer cut out, so as a result I can't turn on my boiler.

I'm guessing that it is a fuse problem. But I don't know if there is a fuse inside the box or not, and I'm a little reluctant to start opening things up before I know what I'm doing.

anyone had a similar problem?

There will be no fuse in the programmer.

There should be a switch somewhere which turns off all the central heating in which there will likely be a fuse.

The power loss could be down to a number of issues.
Is there a fused connection unit close by or an isolator switch?
If so check the fuse has not blown within that and the switch is on.
Does the boiler have independent circuit or is it taken from the socket circuit?
If independant check the fuse/MCB/RCBO is in the on position.
Do you have a safe means of testing for voltage ie approved voltage indicator/multimeter?
As if it is not a fuse/breaker issue, we need to confirm voltage at the unit.

As far as I can tell its run from the switch.

I don't have a voltage checker. Not sure its worth spending £40-50 on one.
