Boiler reviews (Zanussi Ultra 18kw)

Hello,

I am looking at Zanussi Ultra System 18kw. Does anybody has any experience with this brand in boilers. I have heard about thier other appliances like hobs and dishwasher but not much on boiler.

A brand new unit is available for GBP 300. I am not really concerned about warranty but would be grateful if someone has first hand experience as user on installer about this boiler.

That's a re badged ideal logic
Check out reviews for them

Rebadged Ideal Logic, which aren't very good. You'll struggle with any kind of manufacturer support for it. Zanussi are pulling out of the boiler market and Ideal won't touch it because it says Zanussi on the front.

Thanks, well Zanussi is out then. I am looking at Wiessmann 19kw newer model (external pump and expansion vessel will be required) and 16kw old unit with everything built in. Out of the two models which one is better in terms of ease of installation, reliability and longevity.
