my boiler gives nice hot water and the mixer tap that regulates the temp in the shower gets very hot at the hot end.. but the water that comes out is too cold. Too much cold water mixing with the hot. how can i step down the amount of cold water feeding in to the shower? the control is already at max .

Have you checked that the cold water is fed into the mixer on the correct side, i.e. the right side? If not, change it and the mixer will work.
