Our boiler occasionally starts with a gas bang which rattles the cupboard it's in. It ignites normally most of the time but occasionally does this bang - any idea how to improve the ignition sequence ?
It's a Kinfisher II RS80, installed Jan 1997. In that time it has had two thermocouples and a service only every 2-3 years. It's always been a sudden igniter but now it's doing this bang thing about 2-3 times a week.
