hi. could anyway tell me how to know if a boiler stat is miscalibrated ?measuring flow temps with thermometer?? thanks

Refer to manufacturers instructions for flow temps, maximum flow temp will be approx 82°C.
Measure as close to boiler as possible and use hot water only to speed things up.

Why do you think its necessary?

Boilers with just knobs are relative settings.

Boilers with a digital display depend on the sensor calibration but often dont read the actual hot water temperature.

You need a good contact thermometer to measure heating temperatures but a glass thermometer in the hot water is fine for DHW.
