Can anyone help on this one please? Gas boiler will often kick-in for say 5 minutes or so when outside the programmer set time. As it didn't worry me too much I can't remember if this was happening before a new circuit board was fitted a few months ago. Cheers

Is it five minutes or more like 30 seconds?
Is it a combi boiler? If so, just sounds like the DHW preheat facility. You can disable it from the front panel on some boilers, on others you need to fiddle with jumpers on the PCB and on some you can't turn it off at all.
