The Thermostat is either a FROST Thermostat which should be set a about 5'c
Or it is the boiler control Thermostat which should be set at about 75'c
if you post a picture I will tell you which it is

Sorry - the state of the boiler just surprised me is all.

I thought you might have been referring to the nice 90 in the conduit on the left
