Hello all,

I currently have a Valiant Ecotec Plus boiler with a plug-in wireless Salus ST620VBC Wireless Programmable Thermostat. The Thermostat is really crap and glitching despite numerous resets. Gonna cause havoc in winter with the little ones. So I am looking to replace it.

As it is a plug-in one, do I just pull it out to remove? Does the 'socket' need to be covered afterwards (I don't have a cover)? And are there any other quality plug-in type replacements that anyone can recommend?

Otherwise i might go for a smart thermostat if it is easy to install (have a Netatmo given and lying unused for a year!)

Thank you!

It can be pulled out from the front, although better done from the back. Replace it with vaillant vrf350, will plug straight in.
