My daughter has an Ocean Alph 240P the hot water only comes on approx 20 minutes after the CH She has been told that the boiler went out of production at the end of the 1990's and needs a new boiler. Any ideas what might be the problem? Thank you

Good simple boilers with plenty of spares about.I would get it serviced and pay particular attention to changing the diaphragms and overhauling the diverter valve.
