Hello all - some coping stones have dislodged on low garden wall. The base of stone is flat - as is the existing mortar face. The existing mortar seems sound - just lost the bond.As I am worried about dislodging brickwork if i try to chisel it off - is there a way of bonding the two together. Would a builders silicone be strong/durable enough? . Ta John

Solvent based Gripfill will bond them together, but if they are likely to be knocked about it's probably best to re-bed in mortar.
You could also try Marshalls Wall Adhesive or similar.
