Going to be using a 1000lt IBC to collect rainwater at an infrequently used dwelling (no mains water).

Thinking of using one of these

to replace the header tanks (currently in a barn on a tower) and give us proper pressure water supply.
(possibly adding liff particle and uv filters in the future to give us drinking water).

Anyone any thoughts on how they last/value for money etc. The property can be vacant for a few months at a time, so we'd almost certainly be switching it off between visits.
Any recommendations for alternative (read cheaper) makes/suppliers.

Is it worth the money, or will it pack up in a couple of years.

My experience with Machine mart and Clarke has been favourable, you will probably find that the pump is a Grundfos or Lowara, and being stainless is as good as it gets, and with the Clarke label will be very competetively priced ;)
