border tiles thicker then main tiles

Doing bathroom in beige tiles with some natural stone border tiles.

Thing is the border tiles are 10mm and the normal tiels are around 6mm so protrude from the rest which will cause problemswhen fitting shower enclosure

Any advise ?

If you are happy with the boarder protruding a bit on the rest of the walls then mark where the enclosure will go and dont fit boarder tiles where it fixes to the wall,fit an a piece of wall tile in there instead,when the enclosure is fitted you wont see it.Had this problem myself in the past an had to skim out a section of the boarder with an angle grinder.
