planning to fit a basin into a cloakroom we have - taking a hot water feed from the closest hot water pipe under the stairs should be simple enough and can take the cold water feed from the feed to the W.C.

however, i suddenly thought that when the w.c. is flushed/refilling, the cold water to the basin would be restricted and this could be a problem in someon washing their hands

any way to solve this/minimise this? is there a minimum distance from the w.c. that I should put the T in?

cheers

You can feed both if it is a mains feed you are splitting and is at a decent pressure. :D
